Who we are
Psychology and Society is a collaborative platform of Belgian behavioral scientists and psychologists committed to applying psychological expertise to today's most urgent societal challenges. Our current focus includes the psychological dimensions of climate change, social inequality, and mental health.
Psychology and Society evolved from the successful Psychology and Corona expert group, which coordinated evidence-based input during the COVID-19 pandemic. Building on that experience, we now aim to bring psychological insights into broader societal debates - supporting public communication, informing policy, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration
Mission statement
To provide scientifically grounded, professional input from psychology into public discourse, media communication, and policy-making processes. We aim to foster collaboration, inform the public, and support decision-makers with evidence-based insights.
